I AM A CERTIFIED, PRACTICING AROMA THERAPIST. I wrote to this company asking questions about their household cleaner. NO REPLY. I also wrote about this oil. Still no reply. I do not put anything on the skin that is not organic, and uncut, or pure.
This specific oil is cut. The fragrance is not lasting like real unadulterated essential oil of ylang ylang (hence the price you pay). It has no lasting effect. It is surely a cananga, which is inferior, if that. It does not have the reactions expected such as aiding heart arrhythmia, it did not display any help in anxiety. It also has not helped with mental fatigue. It does not supply nor meet any of the wonderful benefits of true Ylang Ylang-the flowers of flowers. If you are just wanting a cheap fragrance, then this will meet that need, but you are lacking the real benefits of essential oils. They are true healers. DO NOT USE NEAR PETS, NOR INFANTS & SMALL CHILDREN!

This product smells good and is great for massage. It does get warm after you apply it So don’t use it on your sensitive areas, you may be tempted to but it would be a mistake lol.

I like the smell of Ylang Ylang.

Nice, large 4oz bottle. It has a strong scent. Would not recommend if you are sensitive to smells.

Ylang ylang is usually quite expensive, which is why I usually dont order it. I was pleased to find a compromise.

I use a lot of various essential oils to scent my hand made soaps. I read on blogs where many soapers really love the scent of Ylang Ylang for their soaps so when this bottle of it came up on my list of items I could review I wanted to try it. I've never used Ylang Ylang before but I really like it. It has an unusual, but very pleasant scent and I can't wait to use it my soaps. I put some in my oil diffuser so I could get a good idea on what it smells like and I have no complaints.

It’s the perfect size bottle, it can be used for diy projects or even added to the bath water

Smells nice, goes great for baby items. The dropper is glass and so is the bottle. Scent stays around for a good time. Not a bad oil

The smell is very subtle. It kind of smells like beach and summer mixed. A little goes a long way.

I lived in the tropics for many years and I had Ylang Ylang trees in my yard. The flowers don’t smell much during the day but as soon as the sun goes down the fragrance comes on strong and starts wafting through the air and you can smell it for a long distance as it travels on the warm balmy breeze. Those were good memories and now that I’m living in the mountains, I do miss that beautiful fragrance. This oil is definitely Ylang Ylang, it’s a strong scent, not everyone likes it but I absolutely love it. This is much better then others Ive had, it’s very potent, very authentic true Ylang Ylang , good concentrated fragrance, exactly like my trees smelled. Love this one. Recommend

This is a giant bottle of ylang ylang essential oil and I love it. I think it’s high quality you get a lot of it is a great value and I would definitely recommend this.

This oil is very floral and sweet!!! So i mixed it in my diffuser with orange essential oil and now smells like a much juicer orange blossom scent!! Orange essential oil is always my go to oil fixer whenever i feel a certain scent is too strong!!! I did notice that isolates are listed in the ingredients list so i will not be using this ylang ylang for any beauty products !!ONLY for fragrance purposes!!!

Perfect scent to calm you down and make you feel centered.

I've never smelled actual fresh Ylang-Ylang flowers, so I can't say whether or not this smells like the real thing - but the scent is HEAVENLY. I make my own goat milk soaps, so I buy a lot of essential oils for scent, and this one smells on-par with other Ylang-Ylang oils I've used before. I've been using this particular oil in a diffuser in my bedroom to help me relax recently while my husband is away for work and it throws a lot of scent and fills up the room!It comes in a nice 4oz brown glass bottle with a glass dropper. I've had issues with the rubber top on the dropper arriving damaged with other oils I've ordered from this brand, but this one arrived in perfect shape - so hopefully the seller has fixed the issue with the droppers!

This Natural Riches Ylang Ylang essential oil contains isolates and on the bottle, the recommendation is to use it in a diffuser. On its own, it has a mild pleasant floral scent but I intend to mix with other essential oils for a custom scent. It will be fun!Thank you for reading this review. Enjoy your day! 😉

So, when I ordered this oil I really didn't know what to expect. I wasn't familiar with this scent, I was simply going off the description and thought it sounded like a nice scent to try. I was not wrong!I've been using this oil a lot. It gets used in the diffusers, and I use it in my bath bombs...LOVE! It's one of my favorite scents to use while taking a nice hot soak in the tub. I can totally see this scent being used in soaps & candles...it's really lovely.

This is not 100% pure essential oil; it is essential oil with isolates.I am fine with this for my home diffusing, except that the listing was misleading.I like the substantial volume of 4 oz. The ylang ylang oil has a nice floral scent. I am currently mixing it with other less floral oils and discovering some nice blends.Bottom line - The oil is not pure, but not bad. For me, it is a great per ounce price for home diffusing.

I am using this ylang ylang essential oil to make fragrance blends for soap. I am using this in various blends that I custom make and add to handmade cold process soap. This seems comparable to other brands which I have purchased in the past for this reason.

As other reviewers have noted, this is not 100% pure essential oil, but instead is essential oil with isolates. While technically the product information online does show the back of the bottle label that states this, the print in the photo is so tiny that it's not easily read. After I received this bottle and went back to the online information, I found that if I tried to enlarge that one photo large enough to read the small print, it became too blurry to read. Since there are many users of essential oils who care a great deal about the purity, and since saying this is "therapeutic grade" gives an impression of highest grade purity that is not there with this oil, this seems a bit deceptive to me. I still like this ylang ylang oil, however. The smell is wonderful, reminding me of the honeysuckle that grew wild near my home when I was a child. This works well in my diffuser, and fills the room with the sweetly intoxicating scent. This is a large bottle, 4 fl oz (118 ml), which should last me for quite some time. At the current list price of $9.95 (31% off the former price of $14.50), I feel this is a good value as long as folks are aware of what they are getting.

This was not pure essential oil or it’s extremely old. They refunded my money, so I’m gonna change my review a bit

I am comparing the scent to a Ylang Ylang Body Lotion sold at Bath Body Works many, many moons ago. It's not even close, but you can smell the scent.

This Natural Riches brand Ylang Ylang oil is lighter in fragrance and more pungent than another brand I've sampled. It smells like basic ladies perfume and it's made from flowers. It is great in a diffuser just don't overdo it as it can be a bit on the sweet heavy side. You can use a few drops of it in another less attractive smelling oil for use on your skin also. Overall a good odor-chasing effect though.

Reviewing an essential oil or a scent is always difficult as beauty is in the nose of the beholder. But let me tell you this ylang ylang essential oil smells fantastic.Recently divorced, I have been adding different touches back to the house to bring the woman’s touch and homey feel to the home. One of those things was adding a diffuser. A small touch, but I get lots of compliments and people say my home smells great. With that said, I have never heard of Ylang Ylang But I am told by my friends that it is a very popular scent and they have heard of it before. It is brand new to me. Hard to put my finger on what the smell is but it is delicious. I am a big fan of lavender essential oil, orange essential oil and mint essential oil. This is a point of reference for you to know what I like and if you would like this scent too.Very soothing, very lovely scent. Not overpowering. Will be purchasing this again. Highly recommend.

As others have noted, this Natural Richesâ„¢ï¸ Ylang Ylang Essential Oil ingredients are listed as "Ylang Ylang Essential oil with isolates." But what does "with isolates" mean?Isolates are actually part of the essential oil. Fractional distillation is the most common way to get isolates from essential oils. To do this the plant product, in this case Ylang Ylang flowers, are boiled in a still. As the material is heated, the vapor rises into a long column above the still. The vapor is repeatedly condensed and re-evaporated as it moves toward the top, which distills the vapor many times. The less volatile substances in the vapor tend to run back down the column after they condense, concentrating near the bottom. The more volatile ones often re-evaporate and move upward, concentrating near the top. Because of this, the column can be tapped at various levels to draw off different fractions or "isolates."Using a higher concentration of specific isolates is done to increase a certain aspect of the scent. It is all essential oil but it has been tweaked a bit to make give it certain desirable qualities. This process takes more time and money but results in a better essential oil.Ylang-ylang in Tagalog means “flower of flowers.†Ylang-ylang, also known as the cananga tree, is native to the Philippines. It grows to up to 80 feet tall and has star-shaped, greenish-yellow blossoms year round that are used to make essential oils. Street kids in Manila can be seen selling delicate leis, or necklaces, made with Ylang Ylang and Sampaguita (Filipino Jasmine) flowers on street corners. Drivers buy these to help the children and also to hang from their rear-view mirrors as an air freshener. The fragrance of Natural Richesâ„¢ï¸ Ylang Ylang Essential Oil is the exact same smell as the essential oil I used for soap making in the Philippines. This smell in my Iowa living room now, takes me back to a conversation I had with a group of children and their mother from Antipolo who were selling these flower necklaces on the street near Greenhills. They were attempting to support their families. I pray that God would, even now, breath a fresh blessing into their lives and draw them to Himself. For me, I'm not sure it's the fragrance so much that is calming as it is the good memories that come with it.

Smells absolutely wonderous. Such a lovely, sensual, calming aroma. Reminds me of jasmine, rose, and lilac. Robust too- I can add a drop to a bit of unscented moisturizer and it lingers all day. Delicious aromaThe intense aroma is from the use of ISOLATES (isolated part of the natural essential oil specifically taken out for its aroma or specific note.). This is only a bad thing IF you are looking to gain benefit from the pure essential oil beyond scent. If you are only using it for scent, then it is not worrisome as it is just helping the essential oil smell like the actual plant/flower. Ever get an essential oil and have it not smell anything like what you are used to smelling from the plant/fruit/flower? (grapefruit or lavender for example). That would be a true essential oil versus one with isolates. Not all companies state that they use isolates, hence why something can be an essential oil that is best for use in scenting candles, lotions, use in diffusers, etc, but will be lacking if wanting it for therapeutic value (ie anti bacterial, anti fungal). Those you have to dig for to find a good company.Since Ylanglang is typically used more for scent, and any benefit is generated from the scent (mood based benefits) then I think this is perfectly good as is.Anway, this is first time I have actually seen a label list isolates alongside the essential oil and they should have that listed on the product page (with explanation of what it is).5 stars for robust gorgeous aroma, little goes a long way, nice dropperminus 1 star for not having same info on product page as is on bottle.4 stars, overall

I guess it depends on what this is purchased for. It is not as strong as most other ylang ylang I have had in the past.
